For donors in Poland: 
The Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation is recognised as a charitable organisation. Private individuals can donate 1.5% of their income tax to the Foundation by filling in the appropriate box on their tax return.

For donors in the United States: 
The Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial Foundation was established to support the Foundation's mission in the United States. Its goal is to simplify donations for private individuals in the USA. The Foundation is tax-exempt as a non-profit organisation under Section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code.

For donors in France: 
The Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation is exempt from gift tax. Donations from private individuals are tax deductible (income and wealth tax). Further information can be found here.
