Management Board
The Management Board represents the foundation vis-à-vis third parties and manages its activities. It is also responsible for developing the foundation's strategy and managing its assets. Its members are appointed and dismissed by the Foundation Council.

Foundation Council
The Foundation Council is responsible for decision-making, monitoring and evaluating the activities of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation. The members of the Foundation Council are individuals who have made a special contribution to preserving the memory of the crimes of Nazi Germany. They include experts such as historians, diplomats and intellectuals. Some of them are also members of the International Auschwitz Council, an advisory body to the Polish Prime Minister on the protection and management of the site of the former German Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz and other similar memorial sites in Poland.

International Committee
The Committee was established to provide governments contributing to the Perpetual Fund with full access to information and to ensure complete transparency of the Foundation's activities. It is an advisory body. Its members are appointed on the recommendation of the donor countries.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee advises the Executive Board on the investment and management of the Foundation's assets. It also monitors the activities of the Executive Board. The Finance Committee's task is to develop the investment strategy for the perpetual capital. The Committee's recommendations require the approval of the Council. The members of the Committee perform their duties on an honorary basis.
